Monemon Digital Wallet Rules

General provisions
These Digital Wallet Rules ("Rules") explain how you can use your Monemon debit card in Digital Wallets provided by third parties. It’s simple – add your card, and you’re ready to tap and pay.
These Rules are part of our Service Rules. If there’s a conflict, these Rules take the lead for all things Digital Wallet.
By adding your Monemon card to a Digital Wallet, you agree to these Rules.
Everything’s governed by Estonian law.
Terms and definitions
In addition to the terms defined in our Service Rules, the following terms are used in these Rules:
Digital Wallet: A service provided by third parties that allows you to carry out Digital Wallet operations using a payment solution designed for compatible devices (e.g., smartphones, smartwatches, wristbands, tablets).
Digital Wallet Operations: The use of your Monemon card linked to a Digital Wallet for payments in stores, apps, and online environments wherever Digital Wallet payments are accepted. These operations are considered Transactions as defined in the Service Rules and are governed accordingly.
Third-Party Providers: Companies that enable Digital Wallet functionality and related services.
Device: Any compatible hardware, such as a smartphone, smartwatch, or tablet, used to access and operate a Digital Wallet.
Using Monemon card in your digital wallets
Adding your card:
Follow the instructions from your Digital Wallet provider to add your Monemon card. It’s quick and easy.
Only approved Monemon cards can be added to a Digital Wallet.
We might remove or block your card from a Digital Wallet if needed (e.g., for security reasons).
Your responsibilities:
Keep your Device secure. If it’s lost or stolen, tell us right away.
Use the Digital Wallet responsibly and stick to the rules.
Payments with Digital Wallets:

Things to keep in mind:
Monemon isn’t responsible for any hiccups or errors caused by the Digital Wallet provider or others involved.
Charges related to Digital Wallet services (e.g., by Third-Party Providers) are governed by separate agreements you have with those providers.
Liability, privacy, and disputes
Liability:
If something goes wrong with the Digital Wallet service, you’ll need to take it up with the provider. We’ll assist where we can, but we’re not responsible for issues caused by Third-Parties Providers.
Any claims or liabilities related to Digital Wallet Operations will be handled according to our Service Rules. If you have questions or concerns, we’re here to support you.
If you stop using a Digital Wallet, it doesn’t affect any financial obligations or claims that arose while you were using it. These still need to be settled as agreed.
Privacy:
By adding your card to a Digital Wallet, you agree that we can share some of your data (like transaction details, account information, and card data) with the Digital Wallet provider and others involved in processing payments. This helps ensure smooth operations.
The Digital Wallet provider manages your data according to their privacy rules. We recommend checking their policies for details.
We handle your data in line with our Privacy Policy. It’s where you can find more about how we protect your information and your rights.
Disputes:
If a payment doesn’t go as planned, start by contacting the merchant or Digital Wallet provider. If it’s about your card, we’re here to help within the scope of the Service Rules.
Entry into force, amendments, and termination
These Rules kick in when you add your Monemon card to a Digital Wallet.
We may update these Rules. If we do, we’ll give you 2 months’ notice (or less if required by law).
You can stop using the Digital Wallet anytime by removing your card. If you close your card or account, these Rules automatically end.
We might suspend or stop your Digital Wallet access if:
The law says so.
Your card is removed from the Digital Wallet and/or upon termination of your relationship with Monemon based on the Service Rules, which govern your card and Payment account.
We suspect misuse or fraud.
